Chapter 3 - Tutorial Mode¶

Tutorial Mode is UNA's built-in guided walkthrough. The first time you power UNA on, it starts automatically - taking you through each of the main modes in turn (Chord, Melody, Bass, Modulate, and Performance) and helping you choose the settings that suit how you'll use it. You can skip any section, exit at any point via a confirmation screen with restart instructions, and re-enter the tutorial any time later via the Control space (quick press the CONTROL Knob → MENU → HELP).
The full chapter will cover:
- What happens at first-time startup - the automatic Tutorial launch, and how to opt out if you'd rather dive straight in.
- Navigating Tutorial Mode - moving section to section, skipping ahead, going back.
- Setting up your preferences during the tutorial - keyboard split, MIDI routing, default mode, and any other one-time choices the tutorial offers.
- Exiting Tutorial Mode - the confirmation screen, what it tells you, and how to come back to it.
- Re-running the tutorial later - entering it via the Control space (quick press the CONTROL Knob → MENU → HELP) whenever you want a refresher or to walk a new collaborator through UNA.
